Hi Everyone! Welcome to Grace By Chance Photography! My name is Abby, and I am the lady behind the camera. If I'm not behind the lens of my camera or at my laptop, you most likely will find me in the woods hiking, on the water kayaking, or spending time with my wonderful husband, my amazing kiddos, and my close knit wolf pack of girlfriends. But enough about that girl, you want to know about the one behind the lens right?

 

I am a central Illinois/Indiana photographer specializing in natural light portrait photography. Though I do have studio space available for specialized shoots I prefer God's creation as my work environment. My brand of photography came from necessity when I wanted quality portraits of my children without breaking my bank. So I practiced and took several classes, and then practiced some more until in the Fall of 2016, I asked my best friend if I could take her kid's portraits as.. you guessed it, practice. I posted them online and got a bunch of requests and so Grace By Chance Photography was born. My philosophy is that everyone deserves quality portraits of their family and their life events regardless of their standing in life. I also believe to stay relevant you have to keep growing and learning to stay current with the trends in this business. My packages go from your basics to packages with all the fixings. I also offer professional and semi professional printers to put those memories to the page. Thank you for taking the time to hang out with me and let me tell you my story.
